Six university campuses
The University of Science and Technology of China operates six campus areas within Hefei: East, West, Middle, North, South and High-Tech. Each campus is a distinct arrival destination, while teaching, research and university services can connect activities across more than one campus.
The location cards below include the campus addresses listed by USTC Graduate School. Select a campus to view a full page with its embedded map, local context and practical navigation resources.
The six-campus layout makes travel between academic departments a normal part of university life. West and East provide widely recognized reference points within the Hefei campus network; Middle Campus links areas between them, while North, South and High-Tech are distinct destinations. For a visit, the campus name alone is often insufficient: the exact faculty building or service office determines the route. The interactive maps below make it easier to plan from a city-level view before using the university’s own building directory.

Some academic and student services are spread across multiple USTC campuses, so the address and the building location both matter. The university’s official map provides campus-level and building-level navigation, while Google Maps offers a wider city context. For formal appointments and admissions events, the destination information issued by the relevant department should guide the route.
