Space reservation is part of managing shared academic resources fairly. The library offers routes through its web services, WeChat account and university app for booking seminar and study rooms. Reservation systems can distinguish room size and type so a project team can find an appropriate environment. Actual bookings require university authorization and availability in the live system; an informational website can link readers to that process but cannot guarantee a slot.

The library reservation process is tied to the university’s authenticated services. Reservation access includes the library website, the official “ustclib” WeChat account and the 中国科大 mobile app as access routes.
Reservations concern particular seminar or learning spaces, not general permission to visit the library. Available rooms, times and account permissions are controlled by the live university booking system.
